Peebles & Cameron, LLC, was formed in October 2002 by John D. Peebles, SIOR, CCIM, and Allan R. Cameron, Jr. SIOR. Collectively, the principals have over 35 years experience in the Mobile/Baldwin County commercial and industrial real estate markets. Over the years each of the partners has represented many local, regional and national clients in their pursuit of real estate objectives in these markets.

John is a native of this city and a graduate of the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee. He has been licensed and active in area real estate markets since 1975 and served for over 23 years as member, and later chairman, of the Mobile Zoning Board of Adjustment. John is the only dual accredited broker (SIOR and CCIM) in south Alabama.

Allan also is a native Mobilian and a graduate of the University of Alabama. In addition to his experience in commercial and industrial real estate sales, leasing and development, he has a background in appraisal. Allan is the former President of the Mobile Commercial Real Estate Exchange and is one of only 4 industrially qualified SIORs in south Alabama.

David Tisher entered the commercial real estate field in 2005 and subsequently joined Grubb & Ellis/Peebles and Cameron in 2006. Having enjoyed a successful career as a manufacturer's representative in the textile industry, he has accumulated over 17 years of regional and national sales experience. In addition to focusing on industrial and office properties, David will also assist clients with timberland investments. David attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham 1987 and received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Major in Finance.

Pete Riehm has worked and invested in Real Estate since 2000. His companies have owned and managed residential rental units, multi-family units, and retail/office units. He was also a partner in a construction company specializing in renovating and renewing distressed properties for resale. A retired Navy Commander with 21 years service, he has served in numerous positions and geographic theaters. His Navy service provided broad international experience in a variety of assignments: Naval Liaison Officer to the Royal Saudi Navy during DESERT STORM, Operations Officer of a multi-national task force for Haiti, Intelligence Officer for NATO Southern Command in Naples, Italy, Planning Officer for NATO Headquarters in Sarajevo, Bosnia, and Exercise Officer for the US Navys Sixth Fleet in the Mediterranean Sea.

Slater W. Swartwood, CCIM, CPM, ASA began his commercial investment real estate career in 1970. As an apartment and investment property specialist who has closed up to $60 million in multi-family loans in one year, Slater has built his reputation on guiding sellers and purchasers in solving their investment needs first, then aggressively representing their interests in the marketplace. He also specializes in selling large apartment complexes, and has sold three properties of 360+ units in one year. Slater was the founding president of the Louisiana CCIM Chapter was one of the youngest Board of Directors member for a national bank in the state of Louisiana.
